Psychotherapy
Also known as talk therapy, psychotherapy aims to help a person understand their feelings and equip them to face new challenges, both in the present and the future. Psychotherapy is similar to counseling, and the two can overlap. However, the former tends to look more deeply, addressing the underlying causes of a person's problems and how to solve them.

To see positive results, a person needs to understand the need for change and what's holding him back. That's what a skilled therapist will be figuring it out together with you, and that's why you need to find a suitable therapist you can trust.

Psychotherapy can help when depression, low self-esteem, addiction, grief, or other factors leave a person feeling overwhelmed. It can also help treat bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and certain other mental health conditions.

Meet Jaime
I was working for many years as a CEO in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where I was born and raised, when I felt I needed to know myself better in order to understand my emotional struggles. This is when I embarked in my own psychoanalytic therapy journey—a little skeptical, to be honest.
Surprisingly, I was amazed by the effect psychoanalysis was having on me. I came to understand why the famous Irvin Yalom named one of his books "The Gift of Therapy". Realizing the change, personal growth, and inner peace I achieved through therapy, I decided to go back to University and become a licensed professional. Now I want to share the gift of therapy with you!
